Troubleshooting – Windows
ll::m.LiveListeners.com can be accessed using any of the most popular browsers, e.g.: with Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, and Opera. Apple users may use Safari as well, besides the compatible editions of the above mentioned browsers.
ll::m.It’s recommended that the latest versions of these browsers are used at all times. Regular updating does not only contribute to better user experience, but increases security as well.
ll::m.LiveListeners.com is not supported on Internet Explorer browser.
ll::m.Please note that there are some cameras which might not be supported by certain operating systems.
ll::m.It’s also recommended to have the latest camera driver installed for your camera. They are included with the camera or may be downloaded from the camera manufacturer’s website.
ll::m.Slow camera image is mostly the result of connection problems or low upload speed. However other problems could cause this too.
- ll::m.Ensure your connection meets the minimum requirements and you are connected via cable, because a WIFI connection can reduce the stability.
- ll::m. Your camera quality may also decrease with high/overloaded processor or memory use. To see more about CPU and memory usage, please press Ctrl + Shift + Esc keys at the same time. In the Task Manager select the 'Performance' tab where you can see the actual use of your CPU and memory. If they are above 80% it can result in camera problems. Close some of your running applications and browser tabs, only leave the most necessary programs running.
- ll::m. Camera settings can also make the camera image slow. Setting high values in the camera software may cause the camera trouble providing a stable 30 FPS image.
ll::m.When your audio device is not working or you can't be heard, you could do the following steps:
- ll::m.Enable audio in your device.
- ll::m. If your microphone can be muted by a remote controller, ensure it is not accidentally pressed.
- ll::m. Make sure that the correct audio device is selected.
- ll::m. (For Windows 8/10) Do not use the camera's speakers for listening to music. (BCC950 & CC3000e) Due to the noise cancellation it might filter out your vocals, use separate speakers for music. Look for a speaker icon on your taskbar (at the bottom right corner of the screen). Left click the speaker icon then select your Speaker from the drop down list.
- ll::m. (For Windows 7 or alternative way for Windows 8/10) Do not use the camera's speakers for listening to music. (BCC950 & CC3000e) Due to the noise cancellation it might filter out your vocals, use separate speakers for music. Look for a speaker icon on your taskbar (at the bottom right corner of the screen). Right click the speaker icon then select 'Playback devices' option. In the upcoming window, right click and check 'Show disabled devices'. Enable the device you would like to use and disabled the unnecessary ones.
- ll::m.Plug the camera into a different USB port.
- ll::m.Ensure that the device is enabled and the volume is not too low. Look for a speaker icon on your taskbar (at the bottom right corner of the screen), right click it then select 'Recording devices. Right click and check 'Show disabled devices'. Enable the device you would like to use and disabled the unnecessary ones. Right click on the correct device and open its properties. Switch to the Levels tab and raise the microphone array.
ll::m.Having a high Internet connection speed is necessary to be able to broadcast HD quality camera feeds.
ll::m.The minimum required connection is 1000kbps international uploading and 1500kbps international downloading speed.
ll::m.The recommended one is a broadband connection with 1500 kbps international uploading and 2000 kbps downloading speed.
- ll::m.Connect via cable at all times instead of WiFi to ensure the stability.
- ll::m. Disable your VPN or proxy (a software which can alter your location) if you have any on your PC, as these will likely negatively affect your connection speed and quality.
- ll::m. Ensure that other programs that can take away your bandwidth (hour length youtube videos, other sites, torrent or downloads) are closed.
- ll::m. Check the connection speed and the stability of your connection.
- ll::m. Restart your Router/Modem.
- ll::m.Skip the router and connect directly to your computer with the internet cable.
- ll::m.You may also contact your ISP to ensure the issue is not on their end.
- ll::m.In many cases, the root of the error lays in a simple Windows Update. The windows update service must be enabled and ensure that the computer is up-to-date. Please open your Start Menu and type in 'Services'. Open the 'Services' and in the upcoming list find 'Windows update'. Right click 'Windows update', go into 'properties', set it to 'Automatic' and press apply. Next, open your Start Menu and type in 'Windows Update'. Click on 'Check for Updates' and wait for the search to finish. If any updates are available, install all of them and restart the PC (This can take some time to finish). In some cases, not all updates can be installed at once, so repeat these steps until Windows finds no more updates after the restart.
- ll::m. (For Windows 7/8) Checking for Windows Updates. You can either directly search for it in the search panel there, or find it in the list. Go to Change Settings. As it is recommended to enable the automatic update install, choose this one from the drop-bar.
- ll::m. (For Windows 10) Checking for Windows Updates. Please head to settings, then navigate to Windows update like in the pictures below. Head into the advanced options. Here, you can enable the automatic updates.

ll::m.Private browsing
ll::m.Browsers nowadays offer a so-called private browsing option, which disables the saving of your browsing history, turns off plug-ins, JavaScript and so on. Since the disabling of such features may hamper the user experience, it is recommended not to use these private browsing options.
Troubleshooting – Mac
ll::m.Setting up the camera and Microphone
- ll::m. Verify that the device is plugged into your computer and has a power source too, if necessary (for handycams). NOTE: Some cameras may not be supported by certain operating systems. Please note that HandyCams are not entirely compatible with MAC OS X. Based on our experiences, Logitech cameras work well on Mac.
- ll::m. It is also recommended to have the latest camera driver installed for your camera. They are included with the camera or may be downloaded from Mac App store. However, most cameras can be used without drivers as well. If you are unsure how to set your camera properly, we advise to ask our assistance and visit us on the Live Help Chat, where we are more than happy to help you out.
- ll::m.Before logging in, make sure to select your camera source as a Cam Device and Audio Device. If you have no audio signal after logging in, you may check your active microphones in: Finder > Applications > System Preferences > Sound > Input menu. Or search for Sound in Spotlight. You can also set the volume level here with the Input volume slidebar.
ll::m.Please note that the minimum required MAC OSX version is 10.9 Mountain Lion. With older versions the camera image might not appear at all.
ll::m.In case both the camera and the Flash Player settings panel become unresponsive, please do the following steps:
ll::m.Force quit the camera. Either:
ll::m.Open Activity Monitor, and force quit the camera from there Press Cmd + Alt + Esc on your keyboard
ll::m.Go to Apple Menu > System Preferences > Flash Player > Storage
ll::m.Click on Delete All... button first, then set the Allow sites to save information on your computer option.
ll::m.Slow camera image is mostly the result of connection problems or low upload speed. See more in the Connection speed chapter below.
ll::m.Your camera quality may also decrease with high/overloaded processor or memory use. You may see more about CPU and memory usage at Finder > Applications > Utilities > Activity Monitor. Or by searching for Activity Monitor in Spotlight.
ll::m.Your camera quality may also decrease with high/overloaded processor or memory use. You may see more about CPU and memory usage at Finder > Applications > Utilities > Activity Monitor. Or by searching for Activity Monitor in Spotlight.
ll::m.In the Activity Monitor click on the CPU and System Memory tabs where you can see the actual use of your CPU and memory. If they are above 80% it can also result in camera problems too. To fix this, please close every unnecessary application to reduce the load on your system. If that does not help, you need to upgrade your computer.
ll::m.If your camera image appears pixelated while you are online, it might be because the camera is used on other pages as well. Make sure you close all other pages and applications (such as Skype or other similar apps) that could be using your camera.
ll::m.Make sure to disable camera on Support Chat and Skype, or other similar apps
ll::m.Perhaps wifi is being used for connection. Switch to ethernet cable
ll::m.Make sure to use a Recommended Camera
ll::m. Having a high download connection speed is necessary for being able to view HD quality camera feeds (the number of which is rising, as more and more Performers stream in better and better quality).
ll::m. While 1024 kbit/sec upload speed is minimally required, for a better user experience (and for the Good Video rating and HD quality camera feed), 1,5-2 Mbit/sec is normally recommended. We also advise on using ethernet cable connection instead of WiFi or other wireless forms.
ll::m. In case you experience problems with connection speed, such as camera images take too long to load, or they are not continuous, it is recommended that you check your Internet connection speed. You may check your connection speed towards our servers here.
ll::m. If the measured bandwidth is too low or lower than what is should be based on the contract/plan with your ISP (Internet Service Provider), first it is recommended that you check all running applications on your computer, see if any of them is using the connection (e.g.: torrent clients, instant messenger programs, etc.).
ll::m. It is also worth checking the websites you have open in other browser windows/tabs, since audio/video streaming (e.g.: YouTube) may use up some part of your bandwidth. Turning these programs and websites off may have a positive effect on your browsing experience.
